Finding safer solutions that actually work isn't easy! Here's what I look for
With so many "safer" products on the market, it's hard to know which ones are TRULY safe. Most industries have little governmental oversight to ensure companies are not just SAYING a product is safe. Needless to say, it's important to do your research into the materials and ingredients used in your household products. Many resources are available to help & when unsure, contact companies to ask questions about their safety standards.
Each product that I use & recommend has been extensively vetted for SAFETY.
After you sift through all of the products out there and find ones that are actually safe, then you have to make sure they work. This is a tedious process. What's the point in using safer solutions if they leave your home unclean, hair feeling dirty or makeup melting off? Of the safer options, many leave consumers disappointed in their performance. Finding safe & high-performing products is not easy, but luckily there are some out there!
I've tested hundreds of products and only suggest ones that actually WORK.
Did you know that over 80,000 chemicals have been introduced into the marketplace since World Ward II? Many of those chemicals have a negative impact on our air quality & drinking water (and our health!). There also is an absurd amount of plastics being thrown away each year. It's important to keep this in mind when choosing products & support companies who committed to lowering their impact on the environment.
Products I use must be safer for our health, and also better for the PLANET.

As a self-professed research junkie, I have always been 100% committed to finding the safest products on the market to bring into my home.
After years of my sons asthma & eczema keeping them sick (& itchy!), I began to question what was in the cleaning products, laundry detergents & personal care products we were using. I put in HOURS of research to find that most of the products we had contained ingredients & materials that actually IRRITATED their asthma & eczema 😡
As someone who was already on the "organic" 🌿 bandwagon, this was extremely shocking! How was I, the person many people turned to for suggestions on safer products, so ill-informed?
I quickly found that there is a TON of mis-information out there. Most companies tell us their products are "natural" or "organic" but, in reality, are just pulling the wool over our eyes.
As a new mom, I was determined to make our home the safest place possible for my sons.
It's not an easy task and I've spent years researching & testing products, but I was finally able to find some great options & I look forward to sharing them with you!
Companies rely on us to assume natural means safer, when in reality, many natural products are no better than traditional products.
